Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas's new rig is looking mean and we've got hold of one
A workman never blames his tools but he sure as hell should praise them. The Pinarello Dogma is one of the world’s most successful bikes guiding Team Sky to Grand Tour glory in Italy, France and Spain with Bradley Wiggins, Geraint Thomas and Chris Froome.
It also took a Milan-San Remo with Michal Kwiatkowski and Liege-Bastogne-Liege with Wout Poels as well as a boat-load of other races, too.
It was also the bike of a generation. The bike that helped revolutionise cycling into the new golf on Britain’s shores, with them two-a-penny every Sunday at any Surrey coffee stop, such was their popularity with the consumer.
It’s come in many guises, the 65.1, the Dogma.2, F8, F10, F10XLight, and with the changing of Team Sky to Team Ineos came the latest creation from Pinarello’s Treviso factory, the Dogma F12.
While Chris, Geraint and Egan have been riding them for the best part of a month, at Cyclist we’ve only just got our hands on one and we thought we’d share how good it looks.
