Piccoli takes Tour de Beauce overall victory

Team Canada’s James Piccoli parlayed a stage win on Saturday and fourth place on Sunday into overall victory at the Tour de Beauce, the first Canadian to win the 2.2 race since Svein Tuft claimed the overall win in 2008.

Silber Pro Cycling‘s Pier-André Côté took his second stage win of the race on the difficult final circuit in Saint-Georges, besting Daniel Whitehouse (Interpro Stradalli Cycling), Bruno Langlois (Québec) and Piccoli.
